The Commission requires one (1) IT Project Manager for an initial term of 24 months with an option to extend for 12 months. Duties

1. Project Coordination, System Support & Delivery

• Support planning, coordination, and monitoring of system changes, enhancements, and release activities across multiple concurrent workstreams.
• Maintain and manage project documentation including RFC logs, requirements, testing records, decision logs, and communication updates.
• Coordinate and facilitate testing cycles — test script development, execution support, defect validation, and readiness activities prior to deployments.
• Provide day-to-day functional support for the Case Management System, ensuring timely triage and escalation of issues.
• Ensure project materials, system documentation, templates, letters, forms, and business process resources remain current and accurate.

2. Data Integrity, Reporting & Performance Measurement

• Conduct regular data validation, quality assurance reviews, and integrity checks to ensure accurate case and program reporting.
• Gather reporting requirements and ensure reports and dashboards reflect business needs and program area priorities.
• Monitor and document issues, trends, and data quality observations; escalate risks with recommended mitigation strategies.

3. Stakeholder Engagement, Coordination & Communications

• Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, system power users, external vendors, GoA partners, and other business units.
• Communicate project updates, decisions, risks, and impacts clearly to leadership, program areas, and governance groups.
• Support change management and communications related to system updates, enhancements, and reporting changes.

4. Website & Digital Platform Coordination

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date digital content for all Commission program websites and online portals.
• Ensure UAT for website updates and portal enhancements is complete and sign-off is received from branch executives prior to deployment.

5. Administrative & Cross-Team Support

• Provide operational support to the Director, Appeals Secretariat and Chief Administrative Officer (CAO).
• Work closely with the IT Systems Lead for joint planning, issue escalation, testing coordination, and execution of system enhancements.
• Regularly update Executive team members and Directors on progress, risks, key decisions, and project milestones.
• Provide cross-training and backup coverage for other operational roles to support business continuity.

Working Hours & Location

• Resource is expected to work 7.25 hours per day within the allocated budget, attend meetings during business hours.
• The resource will primarily work onsite; occasional remote work may be permitted with reasonable notice.
• When working remotely, all data must remain within Canada.
• Resource must provide own equipment/laptop compatible with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD). Windows is preferred.

The DCoE requires a Senior Data Architect to support the delivery of key roadmap items for the OneData Alberta and Crosswalk initiatives. The GoA's approach is enabled through a cloud-based and on-premise Data Fabric and/or Data Mesh framework for organizing, managing, and delivering enterprise data assets. This role provides senior-level architectural leadership and strategic direction, including schema analysis, data profiling, development of enterprise data architecture and models, data quality frameworks, metadata standards, and design of data linkages and crosswalk frameworks enabling an integrated, interoperable federated data ecosystem.

Working Hours & Location

The Province has a strategic role within government to drive efficiencies, innovation, and modernization. As part of this role, the Province is expanding GoA digital service delivery to simplify and improve user interactions. The Digital Design and Delivery Division (3D) is the Province's centre for digital delivery and applies human-centred design, agile methodology, and modern data practices to ensure service quality and value.

3D works with GoA ministries to deliver programs that better serve Albertans. The Province requires up to 25 Full Stack Developers to support service innovation, program review, and digital transformation across GoA. Resources will work in cross-functional product delivery or program review teams and contribute to field research, backlog definition/refinement, sprint planning, and sprint execution. Teams review current service state, identify future opportunities, and deliver efficient, effective, and affordable digital services.

The Full Stack Developer contributes to shared team understanding of the software ecosystem, working agreements, and current service implementations, and develops functionality supporting public-facing services for GoA.
