The Commission requires one (1) IT Project Manager for an initial term of 24 months with an option to extend for 12 months. Duties

1. Project Coordination, System Support & Delivery

  • Support planning, coordination, and monitoring of system changes, enhancements, and release activities across multiple concurrent workstreams.
  • Maintain and manage project documentation including RFC logs, requirements, testing records, decision logs, and communication updates.
  • Coordinate and facilitate testing cycles — test script development, execution support, defect validation, and readiness activities prior to deployments.
  • Provide day-to-day functional support for the Case Management System, ensuring timely triage and escalation of issues.

The Province has a strategic role within government to drive efficiencies, innovation, and modernization. As part of this role, the Province is expanding GoA digital service delivery to simplify and improve user interactions. The Digital Design and Delivery Division (3D) is the Province's centre for digital delivery and applies human-centred design, agile methodology, and modern data practices to ensure service quality and value.

3D works with GoA ministries to deliver programs that better serve Albertans. The Province requires up to 25 Full Stack Developers to support service innovation, program review, and digital transformation across GoA. Resources will work in cross-functional product delivery or program review teams and contribute to field research, backlog definition/refinement, sprint planning, and sprint execution. Teams review current service state, identify future opportunities, and deliver efficient, effective, and affordable digital services.
